It’s Time To Choose

Josh 24:14-15 ESV

14 “Now therefore fear the Lord and serve him in sincerity and in faithfulness. Put away the gods that your fathers served beyond the River and in Egypt, and serve the Lord. 15 And if it is evil in your eyes to serve the Lord, choose this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your fathers served in the region beyond the River, or the gods of the Amorites in whose land you dwell. But as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.”

January is usually a time of rejuvenation for me. It’s a month that I look forward to every year. As I spend a lot of time writing and seeking the Lord for direction, I find newness, change, and blessings. This January has been very different from the norm though. 

As I think back on this month, it was one of incredible warfare filled with physical and emotional pain targeting what the LORD IS DOING. I am not seeking sympathy or pity, but pinpointing the war raging in the heavenlies. If you’re very sensitive to what is going on in the Spirit, then you may have felt it too. 

So today I have this burning need to testify that the Lord is our Healer. He is our Deliverer. He is our Miracle Worker. He is whatever we need, because He is the Great I Am. Do not give up. Do not turn away from prayer and intercession. Do not back down. God is carrying us through! 

At the end of July 2024, I wrote two journal entries that the Lord directed me to revisit yesterday. I never usually share my personal entries unless God instructs me to do so. I believe the Lord has chosen these specifically to speak to you about a situation in your life. 

“Stacey, where are you called to?”

Before sharing though, it’s necessary to give you some background into my ministry calling. If you asked me when I was ordained about where I was called to specifically I would have said, “Central Florida.” Being raised in Central Florida, there wasn’t really one city I was drawn to more than the other. I really didn’t have the full vision of what the Lord was doing at that time. He had to unveil it to me gradually. 

I know now that was THE BEST PART of His plan because it brought healing to me. Sometimes the Lord reveals things to us slowly to keep us from running away from Him. He healed deep wounds in me when He called me to Apopka. 

In short, my father’s traffic accident was caused by an Apopka resident. The man was tried and found not guilty for vehicular manslaughter. I never expected THAT OUTCOME from the Lord. I had prayed. I had pushed through so much, but that was the outcome. Not guilty. 

I turned the pain associated with the most horrible day I had ever experienced towards the place that took everything away from me… Apopka. It hurt to drive through the city. It hurt to be anywhere closeby. Apopka was a reminder of what I had lost. What was taken away from me. A constant reminder of how quickly your life can change.  

FULL CIRCLE: through a series of developments that lead back to the original source, position, or situation or to a complete reversal of the original position (Merriam-Webster). 

I had moved away from home to heal, and then returned not fully aware of the Lord’s plan. Moving home had brought with it a fulfilled, long-awaited desire of my heart. Ordination. Combined with that, it seemed like every new friend I met was from….you guessed it….Apopka. I even went to church in Apopka briefly before beginning a bible study in my home that led to launching the church I now pastor, Remnant Church. So imagine my surprise when the Lord began unveiling the true place He was calling me to in Central Florida. It was a shock at first, but one of the greatest hidden blessings of my life.

Apopka is HOME. You can often find me walking and praying for revival at one of the local parks or on the Wildlife Drive. There is so much more I could share, but that is enough for now.

7-25-24 Entry (written at the Apopka Amphitheater center stage)

I have a word for Apopka. The shaking has begun. It is going to look very different when I am through. You won’t recognize this place, because the worship My people will give Me will be intense. You are writing this on Holy Ground, and indeed it is holy from the worship that has gone forth here. I am unveiling My glory here. People won’t believe what will take place here. Do you have the faith to believe?

That sinkhole was just the beginning of the shaking. There will be more, for I am doing a new thing in Apopka. I am shaking and I am cleaning house. Make way for My glory. I will not be mocked any longer. 

I am taking the city back for the Kingdom of God and this town will give full glory and honor to Me. You will stand face to face on Mount Carmel looking the Prophets of Baal in their faces. They are going to try their best to make you afraid, to intimidate you, but you are My INTIMIDATOR.  My words spoken through you will cause everyone to fear Me. 

Revival will happen and it’s coming just like I told you. My word will not return void. Do you hear the sirens? It’s their last chance. They are doing everything they can to keep me away, but I am taking back what the enemy thought he stole. 

Look to Me when things come against you. I am your Great Defender and My Angel Army is right there in the midst of the battle with you. You don’t have to fight. Just speak my word. My words spoken through you cause DOMINOES TO FALL. Get ready for more. Get ready. Get ready. I will continue to amaze you. 

Don’t be sidetracked by what is coming at you. Stop. You know My voice. What I am giving you is for intercession. What is coming at you is the ENEMY. You’ll see the difference. TRUST ME IN THE SHAKING. I will take care of what is coming at you if you INTERCEDE about what I am revealing to you. 

(As I was writing the above entry, a news story broke about a scaffolding collapse at the Apopka Walking Bridge over 441/Main Street. There were actual sirens going off as I was writing this word as AFD had taken several of the injured to area hospitals.)

The very next day…. 7-26-2024 Entry (written around Gate 4 Soccer Fields at the Northwest Recreation Complex)

You’re in the delivery room and it’s time to push through the labor pangs. Praise is your weapon. You can praise Me for victory and celebrate at Baal Perazim, the place of breakthroughs; or you can be silent and be buried at Padan Aram, the place of Rebekeh’s death in childbirth. It’s your choice. 

Choose this day whom you will serve. I’m asking you to birth My miracle not sulk in your sorrow. Sorrow brings death. Praise is your weapon of breakthrough. You will violently take back everything that’s been stolen as you praise your way to victory. 

Get up. Stop sitting under that juniper tree. Praise My name for the wonderful works I have done and for the wonderful things I am about to do. I am your God of victory. I am your God of miracles. I am your God of breakthrough.

I’m going to renew you. You have My glory. You carry My authority and power. Every step your foot takes is holy. You are walking on holy ground. You are anointed to breakthrough and breakout. Everywhere you go and everything you do is marked for breakthrough. 

I am cleansing this town. Apopka has the beauty of My springs. Springs of life. Springs of vitality. Springs of My presence but everything that MAN has touched has turned dirty including the water. I am cleansing this town. I am bringing it back to life.  New life will flow out of the city. New life will pour out of My springs. Revival waters will flow through Apopka.

I’m establishing My covenant and unveiling My glory. Even the man-made fountains have manufactured rainbows in them that are not of Me. I am removing everything that is not of Me. I will no longer sit back and allow the flesh to taint the ground and to water down My word. I am doing a new thing. Do you not feel it? Can you not see it? I am making room for My presence to come and dwell here.

(There is a fountain in one of the retention ponds at the park. The Lord gave me this word on the last day I witnessed the fountain running. It has not been on since this day that I have witnessed, and I go to the park several times a week.)

IS 43:16-21 ESV Thus says the Lord, who makes a way in the sea, a path in the mighty waters, 17 who brings forth chariot and horse, army and warrior; they lie down, they cannot rise, they are extinguished, quenched like a wick: 18 “Remember not the former things, nor consider the things of old. 19 Behold, I am doing a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it? I will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert. 20 The wild beasts will honor me, the jackals and the ostriches, for I give water in the wilderness, rivers in the desert, to give drink to my chosen people, 21 the people whom I formed for myself that they might declare my praise.

So what is the Lord saying for OUR RIGHT NOW? 

There is a spiritual war going on in the heavenlies. You have felt the shaking in your life in ways you never thought you would. Let Me clarify. The shaking is coming from Me. I am shaking the heavens and the earth, and I am shaking the nations. (Hag 2:6) 

It is Me. I know you have felt it. You have felt the shaking and quaking and it has brought about a stirring in you. It’s like things that were lying DORMANT are being brought to the surface of your heart. I heard you ask Me, “Lord, where did this come from? I didn’t even know that was there.” 

You are at a moment of breakthrough. There is no need to fear, because what you’ve been waiting for is here. It’s time. Your Promised Land is here. It’s time to crossover into what I have promised you… A land flowing with milk and honey. 

This is not the time to shrink down into timidity, but stand tall and grab hold of your faith. I did not give you grasshopper vision. You have My supernatural vision. You see things as I see them. You see people as I see them. I created you to LIVE in your Promised Land just like Joshua and Caleb. You call things not as though they are and LIVE IN THE PROMISE. 

You’re going through a birthing process. It looks like death. It looks like defeat, but you’re birthing My miracle. You’re birthing the word I’ve placed deep in your heart. Do you not see it? Do you not feel it? Do you believe My Word is TRUTH?  

It’s time. It’s time to choose. Choose you this day whom you will serve. You’re at a place of choice. Your forty years of wandering in the wilderness are over. You won’t make another pass around this same mountain again. It’s time to either birth the vision or let it die in the wilderness. 

It is time to choose. You can sit in defeat letting YOUR EVERYTHING die or you can breakthrough to your Promised Land. I’ve given you the promise. I’ve given you the vision. I’ve shown you great and mighty things. Who do you choose? What are you choosing? Death or Life? It’s your choice. It’s your choice. It’s your choice.

Are you bold enough to step into THE NEW? 

It only takes one step. One step towards the promise. One step towards the vision. Just take that one step. One step will unlock GREATER in you. Choose Me. 

You know My voice. You’ve known My voice for a long time, and you know when it’s Me speaking to you. Trust Me when things come against you. You’ll know when to speak and you’ll know when to stay quiet. You’ll know how to act and react under the pressure. Trust that wisdom, knowledge, and revelation is coming from Me. You already sense it is divine. You know it’s from Me. Now trust Me with it. 

Trust your instincts. Trust that your very thoughts are mine, because you operate with My Mind, the Mind of Christ. Trust My still small voice speaking to you. It is Me. I am revealing great and mighty things to you. I will show you how to recognize the enemy’s BLOCKADES and BARRICADES. Pray and intercede. It’s through this deep power of intercession that things move out of your way. Greater is He who is in me than he that is in the world. Your intercession unlocks the power to MY GREATER.

If you’re bold enough to step into the new, then you’ll know what coming FULL CIRCLE is like in an even greater way. When you choose Me… When you take that step towards Me… When you take that step into your Promised Land, you will experience the supernatural like never before. You’ll go to new levels of my glory. New levels of my fire. New levels of anointing. New levels of revelation. It’s time. Are you ready for MORE? Are you ready for GREATER?

3 Going on eastward with a measuring line in his hand, the man measured a thousand cubits,[a] and then led me through the water, and it was ankle-deep. 4 Again he measured a thousand, and led me through the water, and it was knee-deep. Again he measured a thousand, and led me through the water, and it was waist-deep. 5 Again he measured a thousand, and it was a river that I could not pass through, for the water had risen. It was deep enough to swim in, a river that could not be passed through.
